A True Electric® powertrain solution comprises seven or eight key components, optimized for reliability, low weight and high efficiency. Communication between components is via a standard CAN-bus. True Electric® marks a quantum shift in automotive design and drive train technology, comprising all powertrain components, from the charging plug to the wheels.

Patent pending motor and battery technologies are key focus

Low weight motors with the highest available power and torque densities are being developed. And the TEBS® BMS uses Active Balancing for optimum energy utilization, faster charging and longer battery pack life.

Turnkey convenience

Unique to the True Electric® concept is the provision of in-house engineering capacity, enabling completion of clients’ priority prototype conversion projects in a fraction of the normal time. Once evaluation is complete Electroengine is able to deliver power train components and support as the turnkey supplier or to transfer the technology solutions by means of licensing.
